Abstract

The Isolated transmission line in the Ketapang system is one of several systems in the Khatulistiwa, West Kalimantan system that is still not connected to the main grid. Due to the long distance, low load and there is no large plant in the Ketapang isolated system there is potential for a voltage violation on isolated transmission lines in the Ketapang system above the service voltage limit. With the 150 kV nominal voltage still not up to standard (average 127 kV), it is necessary to improve service. This improvement in service certainly needs to be balanced with an increase in equipment performance, therefore it is necessary to improve methods.
